Island Walnut Turkey Trumpet

This is a Island Walnut turkey trumpet. Island Walnut has wonderful properties make it an excellent choice for turkey trumpets. This wood is a very rare find and is a prized wood for sculptures, furniture, and drums. I bought this wood about 25 years ago and it has been air drying all this time. It is a beautiful wood with a tight grain that helps with shedding the moisture from using the call. Excess moisture can change the internal dimensions of the call through use. This excess moisture can effect the sound the call produces. This call sports a Delrin mouth piece, a rubber lip stopper and an aluminum laser engraved transition band. Call bag and lanyard included.
