Mahogany and Mineral Stained Yellow Poplar Short Box Call

This is a Short Box Call measuring 10" in total length. Box is made from Mahogany that I purchased from the Estate of Black Duck Game Calls. This wood has outstanding looks and a slight ribbon effect to the grain of the wood. Box is made of Mahogany with a base of Yellow Poplar wood and inlays of Yellow Poplar wood. Lid is made of Mineral stained Yellow Poplar heart wood with Mahogany and Mother of Pearl inlays. Starts off with a medium pitch and roll overs quickly with nice clear notes. Raspy notes can be heard on the lower pitch notes. This call has good volume and will carry well on a windy day or on open fields. Great sounding yelps, clucks, purrs, and cutts. Call bag and chalk included.
