Mahogany and Purpleheart Short Box Call

This is a Short Box Call measuring 10" in total length. Box is made from Mahogany that I purchased from the Estate of Black Duck Game Calls. This wood has outstanding looks and a slight ribbon effect to the grain of the wood. Box is made of Mahogany with a base of Purpleheart wood and inlays of Purpleheart wood. Lid is made of Purpleheart with Mahogany and Mother of Pearl inlays. Starts off with a medium pitch and roll overs quickly with nice clear notes. Raspy notes can be heard on the lower pitch notes. This call has good volume and will carry well on a windy day or on open fields. Great sounding yelps, clucks, purrs, and cutts. Call bag and chalk included.
