Yellow Poplar with Black Walnut Paddle Scratch Box Call

Yellow Poplar box trimmed in Mahogany and Curly Pyinma with a Black Walnut Striker Paddle. These calls have excellent volume and can be worked lightly to tone the volume down. Work the call across the striker paddle in a oblong circle without picking the box up off of the call to obtain a nice breaking yelp. Each call is made slightly different and tuned individually to the paddle it is paired up with. Work this call slower to obtain more raspyness. Moving your fingers around on the box and the paddle hold will change the sound. Practice to find your sweet spot. Compact call with a bunch of hen in it. This call will Yelp, cackle, cutt, cluck, and purr. Paddle is tethered to the box to help from loosing it in the woods. Chalk and call bag included.
