This is a Stabilized Black Walnut Burl wood turkey trumpet. These select hardwoods have wonderful properties that make it an excellent choice for turkey trumpets. It is a beautiful looking and is extremely functional call made of Black Walnut Burl and put through a process to harden and stabilize the burl. Excess moisture can change the internal dimensions of the call through use. This excess moisture can effect the sound the call produces.
